The Delta Sportsman’s directors would like to provide an update to the 100 yard rifle range “No Blue Sky” upright project.
The first upright “baffle” is up. This consists of posts, AR 450 steel plating covered with 6” thick wood planking material.
The second baffle is currently under construction; upright posts were placed last fall and material has been procured. Our intent is to have this baffle completed early spring in order to open the range under certain restrictions.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this range upgrade. We have spent approximately $ 17,000 and volunteers have contributed numerous hours with the goal to make the range a safer environment for both the shooters and those that live in the proximity of the range.
